One-to-One Chromebooks
RT-C ISD offers a one-to-one program which means that every student is provided with a Chromebook to be used for learning. Students at the elementary campus have classroom sets, while students on the high school campus are assigned individual devices.
Students on the high school campus receive a Chromebook and a charger at the beginning of the year. They are required to sign a Chromebook Agreement Form. Parents may elect to add insurance in the event the Chromebook is damaged. Insurance does not cover the cost of a stolen device.
RT-C ISD uses a web filtering program called Deledao to ensure safe browsing for your students.

Why is my Chromebook so slow?
The most common factors that may affect the speed of your Chromebook are:
Too many tabs open!
Too many open tabs can slow down the speed of your broswer. Close down any unnecessary tabs.
Not shutting down your Chromebook and ignoring updates.
Google Chrome is always updating and changing. Ignoring recommended updates can cause internet connectivity issues as well as keep various programs from working.
